MAYLIE (born December 2, 2004) is an international pop artist, producer and songwriter. Born into a musical family and raised in a quiet town near the capital, she was immersed in music from infancy. The artist has developed an expansive creative universe. Maylie's songwriting does not focus on traditional themes of romantic love; instead, it explores the internal world of the self. Her lyrics document the duality of existence and the conflict between self-love and self-hate, acceptance and denial. At age 16, inspired by the global influence of the South Korean group BLACKPINK, Maylie transitioned to writing exclusively in English.
